Natus Vincere

CIS
About

Natus Vincere, more popularly known as Na'Vi, were the first winners of The International. They took home first place at The International 2011 and dominated the early years of competitive Dota 2. They placed second at both The International 2012 and The International 2013. These successes helped make NaVi one of the most identifiable (and beloved) esports brands in the world. Of course, the bright yellow logo surely helps.

Many famous moments in early Dota 2 history involve Na'Vi, including a gameplay highlight known as "The Play." Na'Vi underwent a decline through 2014, seeing a break-up of its highly rated roster. Two of those players have gone on to captain their own highly-successful teams: Puppey of Team Secret and KuroKy of Nigma (formerly of Team Liquid). For many years, Danil "Dendi" Ishutin was the face of NaVi (and of Dota 2). His record-setting time on the team's active roster team ended in 2018.

The current Na'Vi lineup is building momentum in the EU & CIS region tournaments that dominate in the global pandemic era.
