Team Undying have claimed the final North American spot at The International 10 after a dominant performance during the TI10 Qualifiers. They join fellow North American teams Evil Geniuses and Quincy Crew, who qualified directly through the regular season. Undying was ecstatic about their chance to compete on the main stage as David "MoonMeander" Tan showed his jubilation on Twitter after the win.
Undying went on a monster run and didn’t drop a single game during the qualifiers in which they played three Bo3s and one Bo5, speedrunning the tournament. Against 4Zoomers, they had some early games that looked rough, being down several thousand net worth but they always managed to find that crucial fight win and then ran away with the game, which resulted in this dominant performance.
Arkosh Gaming performed well as they managed a 5-6th finish, and then in true Arkosh fashion (tongue-in-cheek) kicked Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling.
4Zoomers managed to get justice for Andrew "Jubei" Evelyn from Black N Yellow after they lost their second series vs. former Black N Yellow player Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao, who knocked them out of the tournament
Undying has spent a year fighting Quincy Crew and Evil Geniuses being close each time to taking them down. This must feel like a great achievement. But now, they must turn their focus onto the performance at The International as these players won’t settle with just making it to the event. It’ll be tough for them. Having never played together at an international event after failing to qualify for both of the Majors this year, they simply won’t have the experience and practice against international competition that the other teams have. Also, for Jonáš "SabeRLight-" and Volek Jonathan Bryle "Bryle" Santos, it will be their first TI, which always adds pressure onto them. But with experience in Kim "DuBu" Doo-young and David "MoonMeander" Tan, who has attended multiple TIs, perhaps they can steer their young talented squad towards the victory line.
