EPIC League Division 1 Playoffs have begun

With the conclusion of the group stage, EPIC League is hopping straight into their double-elimination playoffs, running from March 14 to March 21, leaving us with plenty of Dota to watch until the Major begins at the end of the month. The teams included in this season of Epic League Division 1are:
Team Spirit and Tundra Esports are heavy contenders for taking this tournament as they are the only two teams who were able to maintain a spot in their respective Upper Divisions. Vikin.gg is also a very strong team, but has been rather inconsistent as of late. With such competitive teams, this season of EPIC League is looking to be action-packed.
Hellbear Smashers narrowly missed qualifying for Division 1. They began with a promising 2-0 start but were unable to secure that final victory after losing to Vikin.gg, Winstrike, and Brame. After winning a recent tournament Snow Sweet Snow #2, where they defeated Vikin.gg 3-1, they looked to be one of the favorites coming into the group stage but unfortunately fell just short. Perhaps this loss will drive them to dominate in Division 2.
A few roster changes have also been made during the group stage. Dota Team, featuring ex Virtus.pro players Alexey "Solo" Berezin and Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, has replaced offlane player Abdimalik "Malik" Sajlau and position four Milan "MiLAN" Kozomara with Alexey "nongrata" Vasilyev and Rinat "KingR" Abdullin. After becoming a free agent following the disbandment of NoTechies, Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov became a substitute player for HellRaisers, replacing Ivan "VANSKOR" Skorokhod while Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk moves to position five.
The playoffs begin with a match on March 14 between Dota Team and Brame, followed by Vikin.gg versus HellRaisers. Don’t miss any of these thrilling series!
