TNC part ways with kpii and Febby

After failing to qualify to the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 by a small margin, TNC Predator has parted ways with offlane player Damien "kpii" Chok and position-five player Kim "Febby" Yong-min.
TNC finished fourth in the DPC’s Southeast Asian Upper Division with a record of 4-3. With the unforgiving format of the DPC this year, they were just one game behind qualified T1 and Neon Esports who both finished 5-2.
Kpii originally joined the team in September 2019 and helped TNC see some of their greatest accomplishments, taking first in ESL One Hamburg 2019 and the MDL Chengdu Major. Febby had been coaching the team since January 2020 and joined the roster as position five just before the beginning of the DPC. Though 2020 wasn’t particularly kind to TNC, they had placed first in BTS Pro Series Season 4: Southeast Asia, which was the last tournament before the DPC. This looked to be a good sign just ahead of a vital few weeks, but unfortunately, TNC fell short.
TNC is not the only team to make drastic roster changes, however. T1, who qualified for the Major, and Execration have also altered their rosters just days after the conclusion of this season. With the large pool of free agents this year, these certainly won’t be the last roster changes we see between now and the Major. TNC will have until April 11 to confirm their roster for next season. Stay tuned for more news on any big roster changes.
