Russian Dota 2 player Alexander "Flow" Sazonov passes away

We regret to report today that Alexander "Flow" Sazonov, a Russian Dota 2 offlane player, has passed away.
Flow was diagnosed in 2018 with cancer while he was competing with Double Dimension. He was only twenty-three years old. At that time, he went on inactive status to undergo treatments, including an operation, but he soon returned to competitive play.
According to his VK fan page, Flow had been feeling healthy until early August when he noticed some changes in his health. After undergoing some tests, he learned the cancer had re-emerged aggressively and returned to chemotherapy.
Flow played for several teams including FlyToMoon, Vega Squadron, and Elements Pro Gaming in addition to Double Dimension.
Condolences and reflections from the community, particularly the CIS Dota 2 community, continue to pour out this morning across social media. Caster Vitalii "v1lat" Volochai expressed succinctly what many are feeling:
