4 Zoomers take early exit from BTS Pro Series

BTS Pro Series 3: Americas saw its first playoff eliminations yesterday, September 19, as well as the first upper bracket series. The biggest surprise has to be that 4 Zoomers is already headed home.

Upper bracket

Quincy Crew advanced in the upper bracket series. Given that they've won the last six tournaments held in the Americas region, expectations are high that they'll continue their run through the grand finals.

Lower bracket

Of the two elimination series, one was an all-South-American affair. Thunder Predator took down less well-known Infinity Esports in a 2:0 series.
It was the North-American lower bracket series, 4 Zoomers versus CR4ZY that went the distance. While CR4ZY ultimately took it 2:1, 4 Zoomers put up a fight. They came back from a quick loss in game one to win the second game with some impressive mid-late-game team fights.
The final match in the series was the longest, clocking in at 43 minutes. Unfortunately for the Zoomers, CR4ZY had it well in hand from the start, and finished with a 45K net worth lead.
4 Zoomers may have been the favorites in the series, with a 10-6 record versus CR4ZY heading into it, but both teams are at the top of the pack in North America. Truly, it's unfortunate for NA fans that they faced each other so early in the playoff bracket. Now CR4ZY and top team Quincy Crew are the only remaining North American teams, with four South American teams fully prepared to challenge them for the title.
You can catch more Americas action September 20 beginning at 3:00 PM ET / 9:00 PM CET with beastcoast versus Infamous.
