Chinese esports organization Vici Gaming
has revealed their roster for the new season (is it a new season without the Dota Pro Circuit running or The International having concluded?) in a Weibo post.
Vici Gaming's new roster has a few surprises.
Second is the inclusion of Yang "Erica" Shaohan, who will be a formal sixth player for the squad, in place to swap out in the carry role.
We did see a formal substitute system used in the Dota Pro Circuit, but this was typical the team's coach, who would compete only if there were travel or health issues. At first glance, Vici Gaming's sixth player seems much more deliberate. We'll see how this pans out.
Also new to the team is Ren "old eLeVeN" Yangwei
in the offlane position. Old eleVen, who is the truly ripe-old-age of 24 years-old, played for Vici Gaming in the 2017-2018 season. He's also competed with other top Chinese organizations including EHOME, Keen Gaming, and most recently, PSG.LGD.
Vici Gaming will next compete in the upcoming China Pro Cup Season 1.
