RNG, SAG, CDEC roster changes

By Tom CockramSeptember 8, 2020
Earlier today, Royal Never Give Up announced their new roster, which sees RNG and Sparking Arrow Gaming swapping players. The roster keeps longtime players Gao "Setsu" Zhenxiong and Xie "Super" Junhao, as well as Chong “FelixCiaoBa” Wei Lun who joined the squad in July.
New to the team is position 1 player, Zhong "圣子华炼" Liushuai (God-King), who will be transferring from SAG. He had previously bounced between RNG and Royal, a second team in the RNG organization. During his time with Sparking Arrow Gaming, they achieved two first-place finishes, at BEYOND EPIC: China and the CDA League Season 1.
CDEC's position 3 player, Sun "Srf" Runfa, also joins RNG. Srf is also no stranger to the Royal Never Give Up team as he had played with them previously. He’s also spent some time on rosters such as Invictus Gaming, with whom he attended his first TI.
Leaving RNG is Su "Flywin" Lei, who will be joining SAG. Flywin joined the Royal organization back in 2018 when he joined their second Dota squad — Royal. In that time, he managed a 7-8th finish at The International 9; that was also the organization's highest-ever TI result. During his two-year stay, Flywin bounced between RNG and Royal but was always within the organization.
RNG has struggled recently and have not played for over two months. They last competed in the DPL-CDA Professional League Season 2 where they only managed a 7-8th finish.
RNG’s roster:
  • Zhong "圣子华炼" Liushuai
  • Gao "Setsu" Zhenxiong
  • Sun "Srf" Runfa
  • Chong “FelixCiaoBa” Wei Lun
  • Xie "Super" Junhao
SAG’s roster:
  • Deng "Dstones"' Lei
  • Su "Flywin" Lei
  • Ou "Op" Peng
  • Xue "September" Zhichuan
  • Ru "RedPanda" Zhihao
