The TrackDota pick for your August 2, 2020, Series of the Day is:

Thunder Predator versus CR4ZY

The Great American Rivalry Season 1 has pitted North American teams against South American teams in a month-long group stage culminating today in double-elimination playoffs. The teams are looking to maximize their portion of the $47,500 USD prize pool, as well as claim bragging rights for their region.
We've chosen today's North versus South series as our Series of the Day. CR4ZY and Thunder Predator will face each other in the first of today's two semifinals.
CR4ZY are solid North American representatives, if not the region's finest. They've placed fourth at their last two events, and are competing with William "hFn" Medeiro, a Brazilian carry player as a stand-in. Does that mean a win for CR4ZY is still a slight victory for South America?
Thunder Predator has been competing for the top spot in South America since quarantine began. With a second-place finish at the recent OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Americas tournament, they're looking hot-hot-hot right now.
These two teams have played several series over the last few months, with Thunder Predator eking out a slight lead in the head-to-head. They've taken four games to CR4ZY's three. But in the most recent series, during the group stage of this event, the two teams split the best-of-two, 1:1.
Who will come out on top here? It should be a close series!
