Ceb returns to OG, SumaiL out

By Chelsea JackJuly 25, 2020
OG is one of the most popular Dota 2 teams in the world, so when a roster change happens, we want to spend time pondering it. This change, however, requires very little thought: Sébastien “Ceb” Debs is back, folks.
Ceb, of course, played offlane for OG when they won The International 2018 and The International 2019. He had stepped back for this season, making space for Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan. Ceb's new role was Head of Performance, working with OG's various esports teams.
In the organization's explanation of the move, Ceb expresses that his desire to return to player status came from both competitive drive and missing competing with his friends. The new roster will compete together beginning July 27, with OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Europe & CIS.
No word yet on where SumaiL will head. OG described him in the tweet above as one of the world's best players, and we'll stand by that. Evil Geniuses are currently playing with stand-ins, so a return of SumaiL to that squad would be interesting. But almost any organization could benefit (competitively and in attracting sponsors) from adding SumaiL to the team.
Best of luck to the new(?) OG roster! When will Anathan "ana" Pham be coming back? Let us know on Twitter!
